How this record was checked, and what is doubtful about it

STATUS GENUINELY UNRESOLVED, and deliberately left so. A publisher check was made on 2026-09-01: EASL's Cirrhosis and complications topic page still lists 'Hepatic Encephalopathy in Chronic Liver Disease (2014)' with no archive label, yet EASL also published a dedicated HE CPG in 2022 covering the same scope. Marking this 'current' would overstate what we know; marking it 'superseded' would invent a publisher decision. Do not cite it for anything the 2022 CPG covers. Resolve by contacting EASL or by checking whether the 2022 CPG states that it replaces the joint guideline.
